Another excellent podcast. I can't wait to hear your post-mortem on the elections. It was crazy listening to all those "teabaggers" being interviewed not being able to provide specifics and/or demonstrate any real knowledge about anything they were talking about. It's sickening to think of them going to polls in droves while people on the (unreasonable) left pout and sulk whenever they don't get what they As a fully fledged member of Democratic Underground, I see what you illustrate on your show every day I'm on there. I wanted to know if you are on Facebook (b/c I think you mentioned it on your podcast) and would you consider doing a show about this "bipartisanship" hypocrisy that the media is pushing on Obama? Thanks and keep up the great work! I always look forward to your podcasts.

Jeff it is a sad day to be a progressive. I prayed that maybe people will be smart enough to realize that handing republicans control of anything would be a bad idea, I hoped that Obama would realize that working with Republicans is a mistake and will only lead to his own demise, and lastly I hoped that the House of Reps would not switch back to republicans again seeing as this year may or may not be a redistricting year. (Talk about rubbing salt into the wound.) In the end its quite stupid of the electorate to forget who got them here, but by this point politicians and political strategists should know that the electorate is stupid. The only thing that you can expect from them is gross ignorance. The only way tocombat this is to provide results that can be felt by the average person. He can be remarkably perceptive when itcomes to who kept his house from getting foreclosed upon in an unlawful manner, who put his child through college, who reinforced his right to adequate healthcare at an affordable rate, who punished large corporations for poisoning his air and water, and who supported his right unionize so that he can gain due process and security at his place of work. If Democrats had delivered on policy that more adequately acomplished these goals in a real tangible way I think they would still be in control today. Say what you want about the electorate its established fact that on the whole its not that bright. As a politician how dumb do you look when you couldn't take advantage of this.
